Congratulations to Everett Seymore and David Martinez! They represented co-defendants in a Bailey County indecency with a child by contact case. Danny Hurley represented the third co-defendant, who was offered immunity to testify against the other two. Hurley’s client took the deal, testified that nothing happened (!), and the jury was out 35 minutes with an acquittal. Good job, guys!

Congratulations to The Tangler! Fred Stangl was granted a mistrial in 140th District Court today in a felony DWI case. He disqualified almost half the jury panel, leaving too few jurors to continue the trial. Fred was assisted by Rusty Gunter and Cynthia Mendoza. Good job, gladiators! (And good luck next time.)
