There is an interesting ethics opinion in the most recent Texas Bar Journal: â€œA lawyer, who is appointed to represent a defendant in a criminal proceeding, is not permitted . . . to furnish to a court . . . a statement containing a detailed description of the lawyerâ€™s services . . .â€ The opinion appears on page 1034 of the December 2005 Bar Journal.
